Amylin

Amylin is 350,000 sf structural steel, multi- story building as well as several additions and modifications to first phase of the pharmaceutical companies ambitious development.

Bridgewater Falls

Outlot and Phase V buildings are the most recent of 11 retail buildings J & B Steel has erected at the Bridgewater Falls  Retail Complex in Hamilton, Ohio.  A total of 30-40 storefronts will make up approximately 630,000 SF of upscale retail space.  Over the past three years, J & B Steel has erected approximately 250,000 SF of the complex, each an individual bar joist and roof deck project.

Columbia Sussex

This office building is a 10 story, 120,000 SF building with cantilevered roof systems on all four sides.

Columbus Airport Taxiway

Furnished and installed over 4.4 million pounds of reinforcing steel for the Columbus Regional Airport Authority’s airport expansion project. Our ironworkers also installed approximately 615,000 pounds of multi-strand post tensioning cables in the bridges. This work included 3 new bridge structures: Crossover Taxiway, Perimeter Road, Loop Road Bridges and a Pump Station with Stormwater Vault structures.

Ft. Washington Way

J & B Steel installed over 5,000 tons of reinforcing steel, 1,500,000 pounds of multi-strand post tensioning and over 100 truck loads of pre-cast. Our team of 75 union ironworkers worked two shifts, 7 days a week for over 15 weeks to keep the project on schedule.

Grand Ridge Wind Farm

Just over 3,750,000 lbs of rebar in 66 Wind Turbine foundations were installed. Each octagon shaped foundation included a bottom mat, top mat, and column pedestal.

Greenville Ethanol Plant

110,000,000 Gallons of ethanol per year will be produced at this single plant. J & B Steel maintained a demanding schedule while extensively coordinating with other trades on site. J & B Steel installed all the structural steel, stairs, railings and platforms on the job.  We also rigged and set all of the large vessels on site.

Heritage Hill Elementary School

Elementary school is a 63,000 SF masonry bearing school built as part of the Princeton City Schools Master Plan.

Main Street Bridge

Furnish and install reinforcing steel for the Ohio Department of Transportation’s replacement of the Main Street Bridge in Columbus, OH. This 700’ long structure over the Scioto River will serve as a key element to the revitalization of the Columbus Civic Center because it features both a roadway deck, and a pedestrian bridge.

ODOT 036 - I-35 Dayton, Ohio

Project involved improvement of 27 structures along a 3.5 mile stretch of US Route 35 in Dayton, OH. We supplied and installed over 2.1 million pounds of rebar over the various structures where we replaced the abutments / wingwalls, parapets, approach slabs, and some of the bridge decks.
